Project WET Around the World

The Project WET network

The Project WET Foundation is located in Bozeman, Montana.  Its network is responsible for bringing water education to individuals globally, and Project WET now has a presence in more than 65 countries around the world and in all 50 U.S. states and Puerto Rico.

Project WET works with host institutions to deliver water education. These organizations are:

  • recognized as leaders in water education.
  • committed to reaching children, parents, educators and communities of the world with water education.

When an organization becomes a Project WET host institution, the organization first specifies the geography it will cover. The geography may include a community, region, state or country.

Next, the host institution designates a Project WET coordinator from within the organization. This individual coordinates Project WET within the specified geographic area. Within this area, the coordinator becomes the go-to resource for all things related to Project WET–workshops, festivals and publications for example.

Then, the coordinator either

  • begins to organize and deliver Project WET workshops to educators.
  • or assembles and trains a group of trainers (facilitators) who then deliver Project WET in their communities.

To learn more about becoming a part of the Project WET network, please contact the Executive Director of the Project WET USA Network (within the United States) or the Senior Vice President (for international requests).
