Laurina is executive director and national network coordinator of Project WET USA. Prior to joining the Project WET Foundation, she taught education and environmental studies at the University of the South, Sewanee, Tennessee, where she was the university environmental fellow.
Laurina also was a principal investigator/research associate in the Center of Excellence for Field Biology at Austin Peay State University, Clarksville, Tennessee. There, she taught biology and coordinated the Tennessee Project WET program.
Laurina earned her Ph.D. in environmental studies from Union Institute and University.
