Educate. Empower. Act. The mission of Project WET is to reach children, parents, educators, and communities of the world with water education. We invite you to join us in educating children about the most precious resource on the planet — water.
Project WET is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Its mission is supported by agencies, corporations, organizations and individuals worldwide.
Whether it’s sponsoring a workshop, developing a publication, supporting education in a specific geographic area or contributing to the global work of Project WET, the Project WET Foundation offers museums, aquariums, zoos and national parks numerous opportunities to reach their constituencies with water education.
To become a Project WET sponsor, contact Dennis Nelson.
We invite museums and aquariums to become Project WET host institutions. These organizations conduct training workshops and further the mission of Project WET in their city, region, state or country.
Contact the Project WET host institution in your area to arrange a Project WET workshop on water quality, wetlands, ground water, Native American’s water perspective or other water topics.
Project WET has many publications for educators, students and other visitors that are appropriate for museum and aquarium venues. Specifically for aquariums, note the following titles:
