Worldwide Water Education

Educate. Empower. Act. The mission of Project WET is to reach children, parents, educators and communities of the world with water education. We invite you to join us in educating children about the most precious resource on the planet — water.

Free copies of the Project WET KIDs activity booklet Conserve Water were given to children visiting ShopRite stores on Earth Day.

KIDs Conserve Water at ShopRite

To demonstrate its commitment to sustainability, Nestlé Waters North America (NWNA) gave free copies of Conserve Water, a Kids In Discovery series (KIDs) activity booklet, to children visiting 200 ShopRite stores in New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Pennsylvania and Delaware on Earth Day, 2008. The free copies were merchandised with NWNA Deer Park Aquapods, and POP (Point-of-Purchase) cards were used to promote the publication. The book was branded with ShopRite and NWNA’s logos and included each company’s environmental mission statement and web site.

The Conserve Water KIDs activity booklet is a colorful, 16-page publication for eight through twelve-year-olds. Hands-on investigations, demonstrations, science experiments, educational games and stories stimulate understanding of water conservation.

KIDs activity booklets complement school curriculums, public education efforts, sales promotions, school and community outreach and sustainability messaging.
