Educate. Empower. Act. The mission of Project WET is to reach children, parents, educators and communities of the world with water education. We invite you to join us in educating children about the most precious resource on the planet — water.
One of the hallmarks of Project WET is the emphasis on experiential learning--with a dash of fun. During recent educator workshops in Mangalore, India, the fun side was on prominent display. Educators taking part in the "train-the-trainers" workshop played games, acted out symptoms and diseases and sang songs--all while learning how to best teach colleagues and, ultimately, schoolchildren about crucial water, sanitation and hygiene topics.
Below, a group of participants perform a song of their own composition during an activity about water source protection:
If their work as educators doesn't satisfy them, they might be able to take their singing act on the road.

Educators "ham it up" to teach each about the symptoms of common waterborne illnesses.

Participants teach each other through song.

Educators pose for a group picture with Project WET staffer Morgan Perlson.
