Educate. Empower. Act. The mission of Project WET is to reach children, parents, educators and communities of the world with water education. We invite you to join us in educating children about the most precious resource on the planet — water.
Project WET international partner WATERisLIFE (WiL) has launched a crowdfunding campaign on Pure Charity to fund local-language translations of Project WET's water, sanitation and hygiene education materials for Africa. WiL, an Oklahoma-based nonprofit, is working to provide clean water and WASH education programs to 38,145 school students in Northern Ghana. To do this, WiL will provide personal water filters to each student and WASH education programs in tandem with the Tolon and Kumbungu District Assembly government offices. Project WET's award-winning Healthy Water, Healthy Habits, Healthy People children's activity booklet needs to be translated into the area's local language, Dagbani, to allow the materials to be included in the District's School Curriculum plan.
