Educate. Empower. Act. The mission of Project WET is to reach children, parents, educators and communities of the world with water education. We invite you to join us in educating children about the most precious resource on the planet — water.
Just the other day, my 4-year-old daughter asked me how much water is in a cloud. Even though I work for a water education organization, I didn't feel like I had a great answer for her. Now I do, thanks to this three-minute video produced by National Public Radio. It uses a standard of measurement that will interest kids--blue whales--and manages to explain not only the water question that my daughter asked but also sophisticated concepts such as why clouds float. Enjoy!
