Educate. Empower. Act. The mission of Project WET is to reach children, parents, educators and communities of the world with water education. We invite you to join us in educating children about the most precious resource on the planet — water.
We found out last week that Project WET has been named to the 2013 100 Top NGO List by The Global Journal, a Switzerland-based international governance magazine. It was our first time appearing on the list, and we joined approximately 30 other U.S.-based nonprofits, as well as organizations from 26 other countries. Well-known organizations on the list include CARE International (#7), IRC (#14), Amnesty International (#27) and WorldVision (#78). Water For People, another U.S.-based organization focused on water, also appears on the list, at #35. The full issue containing the list is available for purchase from The Global Journal; you can see the page with our info here. We're honored to be among such distinguished company!
