Educate. Empower. Act. The mission of Project WET is to reach children, parents, educators and communities of the world with water education. We invite you to join us in educating children about the most precious resource on the planet — water.

Today's children are tomorrow's water stewards
Nearly everyone in the United States is familiar with "Black Friday"--the biggest shopping day of the year on the day after Thanksgiving. In recent years, "Cyber Monday" has followed quickly on Black Friday's heels, with retailers promoting online holiday shopping. This year, a group of charitable organizations has banded together to promote a new campaign, #GivingTuesday™. The aim is to create a national day of giving at the start of the annual holiday season to celebrate and encourage charitable activities that support nonprofit organizations. Some of the biggest names in philanthropy, including Bill and Melinda Gates, are promoting the day.
Check out some of the giving opportunities on the #GivingTuesday™ website, or please consider supporting the cause of water education worldwide with a donation to the Project WET Foundation. Project WET is a U.S. 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, so all or part of your gift may be tax deductible as a charitable contribution. (Please check with your tax advisor!) Eighty-eight cents of every dollar Project WET spends goes toward water education programs--training teachers, creating curriculum, promoting effective educational methods and empowering people to take action to solve local water issues. This #GivingTuesday, why not give the gift of education--or encourage others to do so? Here are some sample Tweet or Facebook statuses to cut and paste into your favorite social media site:
